Day of DOOM
May. 19th, 2006 07:31 amOkay, so in an hour and a half I'm gonna have my wisdom teeth taken out. Eeps... Kinda nervous about that. Also really hungry, cuz since I'm going to be sedated I can't eat or drink anything...
On a more positive note, I've gotten all my grades back from this semester and my cumulative GPA right now is 3.85, which I think is pretty damn good. So yay!
Went over to Laura's yesterday, and we wrote a new song. Well, it's still untitled and it doesn't have any lyrics, but we're working on it. It was cool, though, 'cause we played the whole song through and we just kept up with each other completely. Even did a fun fade-out thiing at the end. 'Twas great fun. Aaaand, she showed me this awesome website, Pandora.com. You search for a particular artist or song, and the website gives you similar artists that you might like. And it actually plays the whole song, not some thirty-second iTunes sample crap. It's really nice for finding new bands, especially for types like me who never listen to the radio and consequently have no idea of what's out there.
